Tanzania: - The friendly country of Tanzania
stretches from the volcanoes in the crater highlands along
the Great Rift Valley to the tropical Indian Ocean, home to the
spice islands of Zanzibar. Tanzania has an exceptionally diverse
population of over 30 million people, consisting of 120 tribal
groupings.
Tanzania has a wealth of natural resources: Gaze in awe as
over two million herbivores cross the Serengeti in their annual
migration from Kenya. Marvel at the Eden-like Ngorongoro Crater,
the world’s largest unbroken caldera. Discover the mystery
of our ancestors at Olduvai Gorge or attempt to climb snow-capped
Mount Kilimanjaro.
Zanzibar – the spice island off the coast of Tanzania
CC Africa is proud to be a partner with the people of Tanzania.
We operate four of Africa’s most breathtakingly beautiful
safari lodges in the most spectacular wildlife circuit on the
continent, and one on the exclusive tropical island of Mnemba,
off mystical Zanzibar :
Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is perched on the edge of the world-famous
Ngorongoro Crater at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern
Tanzania. It lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers
more than 8 000 square kilometres (3 100 square miles) of pristine African
wilderness. Inspired in design by the Maasai mud-and-stick manyatta
(homestead), Ngorongoro
Crater Lodge is without doubt one of the most architecturally
spectacular safari lodges in Africa.
CC Africa’s Klein’s Camp is situated deep in the
heart of the game-rich northern Serengeti in Tanzania –
right off the beaten tourist track. Its 10 000-hectare (24 800-acre) private wildlife concession – leased from
our Maasai landlords – is allotted for the exclusive use
of the camp’s 20 guests, offering you the ultimate personal
Tanzania safari. Klein's
Camp is set on the edge of the Kuka Hills, commanding
breathtaking views of the valley.
CC Africa’s Grumeti River Camp is situated in a remote
valley in the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park,
just 50 kilometres (31 miles) east of Lake Victoria –
Africa’s largest lake. Flanked by two hillsides, this
flamboyant River
Camp overlooks a bywater of the Grumeti River and offers
a comfortable haven from which to experience the truly wild
pulse of Africa.
Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is set in the heart of a mahogany forest,
and is the only lodge in the diverse Lake Manyara National Park
in northern Tanzania. It is the newest addition to CC Africa’s
portfolio of luxury safari lodges on the northern Tanzanian
safari circuit. From soaring groundwater forests and a tranquil
lake, to the mountain escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, Lake
Manyara National Park boasts an incredible wealth of habitats
and diverse African wildlife.
CC Africa’s Mnemba
Island Lodge is situated on an exclusive island just 4.5 kilometres (2.8 miles) off the north-eastern tip of Zanzibar
in the azure Indian Ocean. Surrounded by an atoll of breathtaking
coral reefs, it boasts some of Africa’s most wonderful
dive sites. Mnemba is renowned as one of the most romantic ocean
destinations in the world, offering a privacy and rustic exclusivity
unparalleled on the African coastline.
